VANDOORNE: Agnes, 21/03/1924-04/12/2012. Agnes Margaret Eugene Vandoorne (nee Joye), beloved wife of the late Rudolf (Duffy) Vandoorne passed away at the Bren Del Win Lodge December 4th at the age of 88 years. Aggie leaves to mourn her passing her son Denis (Laura) Vandoorne, Deloraine, daughter Shirley (Bob) Bender, Winnipeg MB., daughter Luanne (Fred) Coleman - Deloraine. Grandchildren Kelly (Vanessa) Vandoorne - Dustin and Hayden, Kevin Vandoorne, Jae Bender (Tami) - Kody, Brooke (Paul) Fust Kyu and Izzi, Nicole Coleman, Stacey (Sam) Gervin Bailey, Christy (Clarke) Wallace Jackson and Maxwell, Bobby Halliday Destiny and Alex and George (Kristy) Wintle Kenny. She is also survived by her brother Cyril (Pat) Joye, sister-in-law Mary Vandoorne and brother-in-law Rene Vandoorne, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Henri and Pharilda Joye and her sister Gabe (Ross) Dujardin, brothers-in-law Roger and Eddie Vandoorne and sister-in-law Louise Vandoorne. Aggie was born on March 21st, 1924 in Mountainside Manitoba to Henri and Pharilda Joye. She attended Minto and Boissevain Schools. In 1948 she married Rudolph Vandoorne and they farmed in the Deloraine area. Throughout the years Aggie was active in the Royal Purple, CWL, Game and Fish Association, 4-H and the Mountview Center teaching ceramics. She was an avid gardener as well as a gifted seamstress and cook. She was a jack of all trades and could pretty much accomplish anything she set her mind to. Her immediate and extended family was her world and she dedicated her life to them. She will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Aggies life was held on Saturday December 8th 2012. Father Paul Bisson officiated. A time of fellowship followed internment at the Del-Win Cemetery. Thank-you to all who sent flowers, food and condolences during the trying time of our mothers/grandmothers loss. Your thoughts, prayers and generosity is very much appreciated.
