WOOD: The family of Helen Josephine Wood, age 106 years, announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Helen is the beloved mother of Donald (Alice), Kenneth, Richard, Ella Macmillan, Cathy (Ernie) Wilcox, Barbara Wood, Emily Sutherland, Brenda Wood and Pat (Gary) Wheeler. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Helen’s life will take place Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church, 635 McDiarmid Drive. Pastor Earl Ricalton will officiate. Interment will follow at Brandon Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Helen may be made to Youth For Christ, 4 – 1228 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, MB R7A 0L9 or a charity of choice. Complete obituary information will follow.
