SUTHERLAND: It is with regret, sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the expiry of our Mom/Grandma – Ella Victoria May Sutherland (nee: Turner). She decided to hit the dusty trail on 19 December @ 2:45 am Pacific. She is survived by her children Brian & Phyllis, (aka PJ) her grandchildren Brandon and Caitlyn, 2 loving sisters and 1 sister-in-law living in Manitoba as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews as well as great great nieces, nephews and devoted friends all around the world. Mom loved living on the farm, later in Brandon, and all it offered with her family and long time friends. However, as we all know none of us are getting out of here alive, and she was losing many as time went on. She moved from Brandon to Langley, B.C. in 2009 at age 85, and made some great friends at the Langley Seniors Centre, Thank you all for taking her into your fold of camaraderie. We are honoured to have had all the time we did with her along with the many friends and family from far and near. Please know that mom was always thinking of you and was happy to have been part of your life. She has requested there be no service. If you wish, please raise a glass or cup in her honour. We have been asked if donations are being accepted in her name anywhere, that is not the case, however she truly Loved the senior’s centre in Brandon, Prairie Oasis & the Langley Seniors Centre - so if you feel so inclined please consider a senior centre near you. I do know the Langley Seniors Centre really needs funding. God Bless us all as we move again to another paragraph in the chapters of our lives, this time without her in it.
