TARNOWSKI: Michael, April 19, 1925 - January 11, 2013. On January 11, 2013 Michael Tarnowski was called to make his "last run" to his final resting place, destination heaven. He left this world peacefully with his family by his side. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean, devoted daughter Darlene (Domenico) Paduano, grandchildren Dorian, Kevin (Olga), Debbie and Kathy (Kelly), great grandchildren Tiffany (Travis), Mattison, Ellena, Nikolas and Ava and great-great grandchildren Tanner and Isabella. Mike also leaves behind his brothers Stan (Fran), William (Joyce) and sister Millie (Walter Jarvin). He was predeceased by his father Frank, mother Katherine, brothers Joe and Andy, and sisters Josephine, Jenny and Olga. Mike was born in Brandon, Manitoba where he resided until August 2012 when they relocated to Calgary to be closer to his family. Prayer Service will take place January 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Community Church (800 85 Street SW). Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Eden Brook Funeral Home (17 Avenue South West and Lower Springbank Road) on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service to be held in Brandon, Manitoba at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (100, 119 - 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6).
