ROOZENDAAL: Helen Roozendaal (nee Burgess). On January 15, 2013, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Helen Roozendaal passed away at her home in Carberry, Manitoba. A cherished music teacher for over 50 years, Helen impacted the lives of generations of students in Winnipeg, Gladstone, Churchill and Carberry. Helen leaves behind Gerard, her husband of 51 years; her children - Angela, John (Rebecca) and Paul (Nicola), as well as three grandchildren - Zachary, Mya and Robbie. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21st 1pm at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Carberry; luncheon to follow at the United Church hall in Carberry. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Helen’s name to Our Lady of Assumption Church or The Carberry and District Health Center.
