GREGORY: Darline Gregory (Campbell) was born to James Wesley Campbell and Pearl Campbell in 1918 and passed away on January 12, 2013. Darline was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Darline is survived by one sister and other family members. Darline will always be remembered by those that loved her as a lady with many talents and a love for life. Darline lived most of her life in Manitoba but had also lived in Ontario and B.C. for some of her life. Darline had many interests in life and filled her lifetime with hard work and activities that brought her joy. She spent most of her working life looking after others, by way of her nursing home in Souris and also managing several restaurants and working in retail in Brandon. Darline was the person who taught family members as children how to dance “properly”, dancing was one of Darline’s favorite pastimes. She was an avid golfer and bowler and was winning bowling tournaments into her 80’s. Darline will be remembered by her family for many wonderful things and no one will ever be able to make her famous baking powder biscuits like she did. Darline spent many winters in Arizona when she retired from work and avidly pursued her love of golf, dancing and bowling. Darline will always be remembered by her loving family members as someone who truly loved life and knew how to find happiness in the small things in life. Ever loved and always remembered, Grateful for the lessons taught. Your nieces and nephews.
