LITTLE: The family of John Percival Jack Little, of Brandon, announce that his death occurred on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Dinsdale Personal Care Home. Born February 8, 1926 in Brandon, Manitoba, Jack attended school at McLaren Elementary, Earl Haig Junior High School and Brandon Collegiate. Following his graduation, Jack joined the Navy and upon his discharge was employed at a number of places over the years including the Winnipeg Police Service, Eatons, Scott National, and was a Commissionaire in Shilo. He was a member of the UCT and the Royal Canadian Legion. During his youth, Jack enjoyed playing hockey, and as an outdoorsman hunting and fishing were his favourite pastimes. Jack is survived by his sister June; stepchildren Ron (Betty) Weir, Rob (Shelley) Weir, Don (Jean) Weir and Heather (Ray) Poole; nephew Gary (Sandra) Robins; numerous step grandchildren, as well as great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jessie; daughter Linda, parents John and Margaret; sister Isabelle (Lorne) and brother-in-law Bruce. A Graveside Service took place at Brandon Cemetery on Friday, January 25, 2013. Urn bearer was Ron Weir.
