RENNICK: Lloyd Arthur Rennick, March 28 1921 – January 26, 2013. Peacefully, with his Family by his side, Lloyd passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital Winnipeg Manitoba at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his parents John Arthur and Lola Jane, first wife Irene and son Garry, two brothers Jack and Glen, two sisters Vera and Marjory, son-in-law Ken Lundy and step-son Bill Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Grace, daughter Marlene, daughter Judy (Ron), grandchildren Steven, Kent and Jenn, daughter in-law Betty Taylor (Bill) and step-grandchildren Sandi and Steven. Lloyd was born in Carievale Saskatchewan and raised in Croll Manitoba on the family farm. After school he moved onto Brandon and worked for Gulf Canada for 35 years with stops in Brandon and Calgary. Lloyd and Grace were married in 1982 and spent their retirement in Sorrento and Westbank British Columbia. He was very active and President for many years with the OAPO in Sorrento and the food bank and united church in Westbank. Lloyd and Grace enjoyed many years of travel together spending winters in Arizona and trips to Manitoba and Alberta to visit with family. In 2010 to be closer to family Lloyd and Grace moved back to Manitoba and resided at Sturgeon Creek Retirement Residence. A special Thank-You to the staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg as well as Seven Oaks Hospital 5th floor Unit 1 doctors and nurses for the care and support provided to Lloyd and his family. In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes there will be no funeral or memorial service. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
