JAMES ALLEN MASTERS Born in 1940, James grew into a natural creater of things. Along with a passion for model building, James became a professional tradesman under the guidence of a blacksmith/ welder. James also had a passion for carving. Starting with a variety of types of split logs, James made a series of relief carvings then his interest turned to carving full 3 D “birds of prey”. During his years in the trades, thousands of passtime hours were spent working on some of the birds that are currently on exipition(until March 8) at the Art Galery of Southwestern Manitoba. James quietly pass away February 26 in Minnedosa hospital, afflicted by an inoperable brain tumor. James was predeceased by his parents Jack and Gladys (Neepawa) and four brothers Fred (Williams Lake), Wayne (Neepawa), Ray (Thompson), Bill (Minnedosa). He is survived by brothers Robert (Moose Jaw), Doug (Brandon), and a sister Bev (Palacios, Texas), 4 Sister in laws, many nephews, neices and their children and grandchildren. A private family memoral service and internment will be held at a later date. Anyone wishing to, may donate to Cancer Research in his name.
