FINNIE: Charles Henry Finnie of Kenton, MB; passed away at the Hamiota District Health Centre, Hamiota, MB, on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 93 years of age. Charlie is lovingly remembered by Helen, his wife of 65 years; daughter Frances (Vaughn) Wilson; son John (Carolyn) Finnie; grandchildren Tricia (Danny) Turner, Martin (Erica Lowe) Finnie, Henry (Nicole) Wilson, Britta (Scott King) Wilson; great grandchildren Jaiah and Ira Turner, Matao and Charlie Finnie, and Harmony and Eveline Wilson. A service to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held at the Kenton United Church, Kenton, MB on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow at the Kenton Memorial Hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 118, Kenton, MB, R0M 0Z0, Kenton United Church Memorial Fund, Kenton, MB, R0M 0Z0, Kenton Community Enterprises, Kenton, MB, R0M 0Z0, or to a charity of one’s choice.
