ZAHAIKO: Betty Zahaiko of Newdale passed away peacefully at the Minnedosa Personal Care Home on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Betty is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Janet (Keith) Martin of Shoal Lake, son Grant (Shelley) Zahaiko of Newdale; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Frank Graves of Edmonton, Fred (Helen) Graves of Foxwarren, Melvin (Pat) Graves of Grandview and sister Connie Paradine of Russell. Betty was predeceased by her son Wayne and granddaughter Gerri Martin. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Newdale United Church. Interment will follow in the Newdale South Cemetery. Rev. Jen Dresser will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Minnedosa Personal Care Home or to the Parkinson Society.
