WILSON: Betty Wilson of Brandon, formerly of Erickson, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Erickson Health Centre at the age of 75 years. Betty is survived by her daughter Myrna (Bob) Smith of Nipawin, SK, son Murray Erickson of Austin, TX, grandchildren: Becky Verishine, Sacha (Marc) Johnson, Shane (Kate Ney) Smith, Austin Erickson, three great grandchildren, brother Barry (Audrey) Cutter of Nanton, AB, sisters: May Scott of Chilliwack, BC, and Wilma Braun of Erickson, MB. At Betty’s request there will be no formal funeral service. A family graveside service will be held in Erickson in the spring followed by a public reception for fellowship and sharing of memories in Brandon. Date and time will be announced at a later date. Remembrances and condolences may be emailed to raesfs@mymts.net Betty often said “Take time to smell the roses”. Betty’s request was that you give a rose to a loved one in memory of her. Rae’s Funeral Service of Erickson is in care of arrangements.
