PRYKE: Passed away at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Friday March 22, 2013 at the age of 94 years, Henry Charles Harry Pryke, of Belmont MB.Harry was born April 17, 1918 on SW1/4 4-5-15 in the R.M. of Strathcona near Belmont MB. In 1943, he married Minnie Jane Lambkin and began farming, which he treasured his entire life. Together they raised their three children of which all were fond of music. Harry played his fiddle at many dances, concerts and get-togethers throughout the years. Harry had three things in life he cherished the most, his family, his farm and his fiddle. He will be fondly remembered for his joy of music that he brought to everyone. Harry leaves to mourn his passing son Dennis (Joyce) of Belmont, daughters Bev (Barrie) McGill of Belmont and Carol (Rene) Fifi of Brandon, four grandchildren Glen (Jackie), Troy (Meagen), Lorrie (Doug) and Donna and by10 great grandchildren. Harry was predeceased by his wife Minnie in 1985, parents Percy and Elizabeth Pryke, brother Percy Jr. and by a sister Millie Matheson. Cremation has taken place. A Family Graveside Service was held on Wednesday March 27, 2013 at the Hillside Cemetery, Belmont MB with Helen Delorme officiating.
