MASON: Mabel (nee Gudbranson), beloved wife of Charlie passed away suddenly at her home on March 8th, 2013. Mabel was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba to John and Lillian Gudbranson. Mabel was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Jack, Gerald, Mae, Sarah, Gilbert and Thelma. Her sisters Emma and Alma reside in Rivers. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her husband Charlie, sons Hugh (Heather), Jim (Donna), John (Lara) and daughter Kathy (Roger) as well as grandchildren, Eric, Jodie, Matthew, Ben, Nicole, Andrew and Tyler and great-grandchildren, Haley and Avery. Mabel had an incredible work ethic and enjoyed nature. All summer she could be found out in the country cutting and hauling wood in the morning and swinging on her porch swing in the afternoon keeping track of her neighbours and townfolk. In the winter she sewed blankets for family and friends. Watching over her family and keeping everyone busy was the joy of her life. A funeral was held March 13, 2013, in Souris, Manitoba.
