HOLDEN: Mrs. Willie Holden of Melita, passed away at the Hartney Community Health Centre, Hartney, MB, on Monday, April 29, 2013 at the age of 87. Willie is survived by her children: Jack (Mary), Tom, Bill (Marilyn), Bob (Lori), Pat (Brad); twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sister Louise Monteith; sister-in-law Georgina Holden and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents James and Clara Greenlay, husband Jim “J.T.” Holden in 1984, second husband Mel Wilson in 2007, three sons: Timothy in 1961, Howard 1973, and Edward in 1977, sister Mary in 1962, brother Jim in 2003, also many brothers and sisters-in-law. The funeral service will be held at the Victoria United Church, Melita, MB, on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Allan Gairns will officiate. Interment will take place at the Napinka Cemetery, Napinka, MB at a later date. Donations may be given to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 824 - 18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7 or to the Funds for Furry Friends, Suite 208 - 740 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, MB, R7A 0K9.
