SISHKA: Peacefully on Wednesday, May 8 2013, Frances Jane Sishka passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Frances will be greatly missed and always remembered by her husband, John; daughter, Carlene; brother, Jim and his wife Mary of Winnipeg; brother-in-law, Kenneth; mother-in-law Evelyn; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Laura, Daniel and Melissa; and several cousins. On March 18, 1953, Frances was born in Dauphin, the daughter of the late John and Nettie Hrichishen. Throughout her life she provided love and inspiration to her family and friends. Frances always had an inner strength and enthusiasm that enriched the lives of those who knew her. She was a wonderful cook and spared no effort to ensure celebrations were always highlighted by her lovingly prepared dishes. She had a special place in her heart for animals, and cared for and enjoyed the constant companionship of her beloved pets Teddy and Benji. On Tuesday, May 21, 2013 Frances Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard with Rev. Fr. Darren Krawiuk, presider. Frances family extends their sincerest appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Brandon Regional Hospital and the Dialysis Unit, Rev. Joe Ball and his colleagues, Fr. Darren Kawiuk, friends at Maple Leaf Foods and the many friends and neighbours who have been so supportive.
