KIRCHNER: Raymond Bruce Kirchner passed away at the Assiniboine Centre,Brandon, on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the age of 83 years old. Raymond issurvived by his cousin Lillias Myhr and family of Guelph, Ontario and bysister-in-law Dot and family of Regina, Saskatchewan as well as Jon, Becky,Caitlin and Matthew Reid of Wawanesa, Manitoba. Becky's extended family werealso an extended family to Ray. Ray was born July 27, 1929, an only child toElizebeth and Christopher Kirchner. He married the love of his life NormaLeachman on September 30, 1967. Ray worked many years as a manager for theManitoba Liquor Commission retiring in the early 1990's. After retirementRay took great pride looking after his home and yard. Ray was predeceased byhis parents Christopher and Elizebeth, his wife Norma passed away May 24th,1994. A Graveside Service will take place Saturday, June 15th at 11:00 am atthe Brandon Cemetery. A tea will follow at the Prairie Oasis Senior Centerat 241 8th Street, Brandon. Memorial Donations may be made in Ray's honourto the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 1st Street Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2W8. Akind gentle man has left our world. He will be missed by all who knew andloved him. No longer does Ray have to struggle with the sorrow and pain ofcancer. Rest well my friend.
