RUTTAN: Jean Mabel Ruttan (née Meggison) of Brandon, Manitoba, formerly of Goodlands, Manitoba, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Rideau Park Personal Care Home at the age of 91. Jean is survived by her sons: Larry Ruttan, and Garnet Ruttan (Lorraine); granddaughter Danielle (Danny), great-grandchildren Lin, Alyssa, and Julie; grandson Stephan (Donna), great-grandchildren Kaylee, Alex and Leah. Jean was an avid letter writer and enjoyed many years singing with the Prairie Oasis Choir. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Goodlands Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Salvation Army, 9 Princess Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 1R8. Special thanks to her companion Betty and the staff of Rideau Park Personal Care Home for giving Jean a wonderful home with many friends and great care throughout the years.
