FISHER: It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Patricia Dawn Fisher on June 20, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. Pat was born in Brandon Hospital on October 11, 1963. She attended Boissevain School and later obtained her G.E.D. She was a Nurse’s Aide and spent many years working at Dinsdale Nursing Home and then Family Visions in Brandon. She loved working with seniors and disabled individuals. Due to health issues, she was unable to continue working. Pat treasured her many friends she made through her work life. Pat was a devoted mother to her two daughters Josie and Michelle. Her world was her grandchildren, Joshua and Kassidy. Pat also enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, camping and activities with her children.Her favourite singer was Johnny Reid and she found comfort in his song “Thank You”. Pat was predeceased by her grandparents Herb and Ida Barwick, Clair and Minnie Fisher and her Aunt Fran. She is survived by her parents Clayton and Yvonne Fisher of Boissevain; daughter Josie (Rylan) and grandchildren Joshua and Kassidy of Edmonton; daughter Michelle of Boissevain; sister Debbie (Kelly) Folk and nephew Nathan of Brandon; her fiancé Mark Canada of Killarney; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations may be made in memory of Pat to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st St., Brandon Manitoba R7A 2W8 or the Boissevain Health Auxiliary, Boissevain, Manitoba.
