SCHAFFER: Leona Schaffer of Ditch Lake, Manitoba passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the age of 64 years. Leona is survived by her husband Don, daughter Myra Schaffer of Edmonton, AB sons: Brent Schaffer of Edmonton, AB, David (Jamie) Schaffer of Abbotsford, BC, and grandchildren Josiah and Samuel Schaffer of Abbotsford, BC. Leona is also survived by her brothers: Elgin Hall of Erickson, MB, Mervin (Debbie) Hall of Ditch Lake, MB, sisters: Dolores Hall of Erickson, MB and Portia Kruse of Ditch Lake, MB. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Erickson Lutheran Church with Rev. Jason Zinko officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Lutheran (Danvers) Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Lutheran World Relief, 600 - 177 Lombard, Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B OW5.
