FERRIS: Rebecca Anne “Betty” Ferris, daughter of the late Bert and Jessie Roney, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born at Red Jacket, Saskatchewan on September 30, 1928, Betty was a dedicated Nurse’s Aide at the International Nursing Home for 25 years. She is survived by her husband Clifford Arthur Ferris of 59 years of marriage; son John Ferris; son Bill (Debbie) Ferris, grandchildren Edna and Clifford; daughter Betty Anne (Maurice) Girard, grandson Mark (Alyssa), great-granddaughter Brenna, grandson Doug (Sara), grandson Chris (Chelsey), great-granddaughter Addison; daughter Pat (Thomas) Hillmann, grandchildren Adam and Alexander; daughter Susan Deering, granddaughter Brianna (Sean), great-grandchildren Isabelle, Ryleigh and granddaughter Raven. Funeral Service will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Barb Jardine will officiate. Interment will follow at Madford Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Betty’s granddaughters. Pallbearers will be Betty’s grandsons. Flowers are gratefully declined.
