MONTGOMERY: The death of Violet Caroline Montgomery of Brandon, widow of the late David Montgomery and dear mother to Margaret Ann, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Vi was a longtime Brandon resident. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Ann Montgomery (Dave Andrey) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Saturday, August 24, 2013 with a Come and Go reception celebrating Vi’s life to be held at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Urn bearers will be Ed Bartlett and Joan Imrie, a very special nephew and niece. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Vi may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation - “Palliative Care Services”, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, MB R7A 2B3.
