RUDY: Celia Rudy, beloved mother of Holly Nahachewsky, David Rudy, Connie Barber and Debbie Kooting, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 95 years. Prayers will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will take place at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk as Celebrant and Stella Fedeniuk as Cantor. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Celia may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Unit 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 5B7 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8.
