KENNING: It is with great sadness we mourn the loss of our loving husband, dad, papa and great papa, William “Bill” John Kenning who passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 17, 1944. Bill will be greatly missed by his loving wife Anne, daughters Alison Taylor (Clinton), Crystal Goodman (Terry), Shauna Kenning, Tara Larway (Brett) and stepdaughter Jamie Davie (Jason); fifteen wonderful grandchildren: Dayna, Kaylin, Nikki, Jordan, Randi, Tineil, Coltin, Jaslyn, Clayton, Carson, Jessica, Shawn, Jeremy, Cheyenne and Riley and eight great grandchildren: Zack, Owen, Austin, Quinn, Addy, Shea, Charlie and Henry. An avid sports fan, Bill enjoyed playing ball, hockey, curling and golf; playing ball and golf as long as he was able. Hunting and fishing were also passions of his. In addition to camping, Bill loved to renovate and maintain his home and yard, and help others do the same. He worked for the Manitoba Provincial Government for 43 1/2 years. A wonderful, fun-loving person, Bill will be remembered for his great love of family and for doing everything to the best of his ability. The family held a graveside ceremony at Brandon Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Bill may be made to KidSport Manitoba, Room 146, 340 - 9th Street, Brandon MB R7A 6C2. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
