PHILLIPS: Gillian Rosemary Joy Phillips of Brandon, died Monday, October 14th, in her 80th year. Joy was pre-deceased by her husband Don, and brothers Garth and Ken. She leaves behind her three children, Karen Phillips of Calgary, Kim Sutherland (Don) of Brandon, and Ian Phillips (Alexx Boisjoli) of Toronto, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, as well as her brothers Tony and John, her sister Shirley, and numerous other friends and family in the U.K. and Canada. An informal gathering for friends and family will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Monday October 21st, from 4pm to 6pm. Interment will follow at a later date in the U.K. Joy loved animals, especially dogs; in lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon, MB R7A 7M6 would be gratefully appreciated.
