McDOWELL: Dorothy (Webb) McDowell. March 30, 1912 – Nov. 4, 2103After a long and adventurous life Dorothy passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2013 at Lions Place, Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB. She leaves her family of David (Linda) McDowell; Eleanor (Bob) Tilton of Oakville, Ontario; Barbara (Gary) Evans of Winnipeg, and one nephew, George (Guylaine) Webb of Mississauga, Ontario. After her beloved Herb died in 1967, she gave her time and talents to many organizations. As a graduate of Brandon College (McMaster University) class of 1933, she was an unusual woman in that she worked full-time all of her life, as well as raising her family. Cremation has already taken place.
