STARZYK: Mary Starzyk of Shoal Lake passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Morley House Personal Care Home at the age of 87 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bill and granddaughter Roxanne Presniak. She is survived by her sons: Merv (Cathy) of Shoal Lake and Ron of Portage la Prairie; daughters: Mabel (Leroy) Ramsay of Brandon and Alice (Mervin) Presniak of Shoal Lake; sister Jennie Nykoliation of Rossburn and sister-in-law Jean Dereniwski of Shoal Lake; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Shoal Lake. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Prayers will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Father Mykhaylo Khomitskyy will officiate. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Shoal Lake Handi-Van or to a charity of their choice.
