HARKNESS: Judith Lynne Harkness (nee Logeot). It is with great sadness we the family of Judith Harkness announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother and grandmother, sister and Aunt on November 20th 2013. Judith was born on July 18th 1951 in the RM of Glenwood, to the late Charles and Edith Logoet. Growing up Judith lived in Hartney, MB, Deloraine, MB and Carnduff, SK. It was in Carnduff where Judith met the love of her life William Harkness. Judy and Bill were married on October 5 1968. To their union they were blessed with the children: Darwin (Born June 24 1969 Died June 25 1969) Krista, Marcus and Aaron. In 1969, Bill and Judith moved to Melita, where the raised their family. Judith worked in the Melita Bakery and also did child care in her home. Judith was an avid bowler for a number of years. She also spent numerous hours volunteering for senior suppers, flu clinics and helping at any event that was going on at the Melita Personal Care Home as well as the Bath Program for a while. Judith enjoyed her volunteer time and found it very rewarding. One of Judith's greatest passions in her life was her grandchildren. Grandma always made a point of being at any activity the kids were in, whether it be track and field, hockey, concerts or lazy day at the beach. Grandma was always their biggest fan. Judith was predeceased by her mother Edith, father Charles Logeot, brother Armand Logeot and infant son Darwin Harkness. Judith is survived by her loving husband of 45 years William Harkness, her children Krista Tweed (Jason), Marcus (Dawnette) and Aaron ( Laurissa).
