PEPPIN: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dear father Elmer Gregory Joseph Peppin. At the age of 78, with family by his side, Elmer passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Edna and by his sons Troy (Jenn), Darcy (Tanis) and grandson Jordan. He was predeceased by his daughter Kimberly, parents Albert and Alma Peppin, brothers Gilbert & Fernand and only sister May. His career focused on blasting and underground mining at Inco and PCS. He enjoyed cutting wood, playing cards, hunting, gardening and lawn care. He was known to socialize whether at home, on the deck, at church, at MMF meetings or at local coffee shops. Elmer always shared stories and plenty of laughter and teasing. Our family would like to express our gratitude for all thoughts, prayers, visits, food and encouraging words. We would like to thank the staff at BRHC for their wonderful care of Elmer. May He Rest in Eternal Peace. Funeral service was held at St. Lazare Roman Catholic Church December 7, 2013. Special thanks to those involved with the service and to Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service who was in care of arrangements.
