MURRAY: Melvin John passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on December 21, 2013 at the age of 53, after a brief battle with cancer. Melvin was born January 28, 1960 in Ste Rose du Lac, son of Hilda (Honish) and Farrell Murray. Melvin’s home base has always been Brandon, as he worked in several provinces for Thermal Design Insulation, over a period of 26 years. On November 26, 1982, Melvin married Debbie Walker of Brandon. Left to cherish precious memories are his beloved wife of 31 years, Debbie; son Shawn (Jessica), their two children Draydan and Danika; and daughter, Shannon, all of Brandon. Melvin is also survived by numerous friends and extended family members. A Celebration of Melvin’s Life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332- 8th Street, on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
