McKIE: Sylvia passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Bill. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Russ (Donna) Everett, Dale (Roy) Baker and by her three grandsons. The Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 3101 Victoria Avenue, on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Edmund Mielke officiating. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 4B-457-9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 4A9 or to a charity of choice.
