OLESON: Emily Jonina (Olie) Oleson (nee Palmer, nee Schlemmer) Passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2013 at Melita Personal Care Home. She was born September 14, 1913. Predeceased by her husband Percy Palmer (1977) and Paddy Schlemmer (1997). Mother and father Kristjan (1937) & Sigfridur (1921) Oleson and step-mother, Margaret Gabel; Brothers: Triggvi Oleson, Kari (Emily) Oleson and David Oleson; Sisters Liney (Ingie) Swainson, Veiga, Loa (Lloyd) Green. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her children: Bill (Martha) Palmer and Marilyn Williams. Grandchildren: Jason Williams; Ronda Palmer; Tara (John) Peron and Jonina (Michael) Elliott; Great Grandchildren: Brady Peron; Ryanne Bugg; Darcy Bugg; Delaney Elliott; Keirsten Elliott; and Ashtyn Elliott. Brother Stanley (Charlotte) Oleson; Nieces, Tryggvine Taylor, Olive(George) Norberg, and Emily Johnson Nephews: Kris (JoAnne) Oleson; Maurice Oleson; Dennis (Nukte) Oleson; Brian (Joanne) Oleson; Fred Oleson; Leo Johnson; and numerous great nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to be held at: Goodlands Fellowship Church at Goodlands, Manitoba on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside ceremony to be held at Waskada Cemetery after lunch.
