STURGEON: Joe Sturgeon of Onanole, MB passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Joe is survived by his wife Bernice, son Marlon (Marilyn) Sturgeon of Brandon, MB, daughters: Bonnie-Jo (Gordon) Lyon of Dryden, OT, Shelley (Len) Mainville of Beaverlodge, AB, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, brother Lyall Sturgeon of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK, sister Jackie (Sherman) Eslager of Kingston, ON. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church, Erickson with Fr. Mark Filips officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said from the church Wednesday, January, 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association.
