WILLIAMS: It is with extreme sadness that Rachel Williams announces the sudden and unexpected passing of her best friend and husband Dean Brett Williams on February 20, 2014 at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB. Dean was born January 15, 1972 to David and Georgette Williams. Dean was an ‘army brat’ so moving from base to base was the norm until 1981 when the army base at Shilo became a more permanent home. Dean spent many happy years at Shilo and Brandon with plenty of friends to share good times with. Dean went on to become a great musician and was well known throughout the Brandon area. Dean was philosopher and readily shared his thoughts with his friends and acquaintances. He was a reliable friend to many, readily helping out wherever and when ever his services were required. In 2005 Dean met and married the love of his life Rachel. They were married July 26, 2005 and went on to have a loving relationship until his sudden and unexpected passing. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Rachel would like to thank all the medical staff in Brandon and Winnipeg for their care and compassion during Dean’s medical crisis.
