BOULET: Paul Richard Boulet - 1937-2014. Peacefully at Bayside Personal Care Home, Killarney, MB., Paul Richard Boulet, formerly of Dunrea, MB, passed away surrounded by family on February 18th, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Julie (Daigle) Boulet, brothers: Adrien (Andy) Oliver, Romeo and Felix (in infancy), and sister, Maria (Mary) Olan; also by brothers-in-law: Bob Fisher, Fred Olan, Bob Cass, Orlando Girouard, and Wilfred Raine and sister-in-law Rosa Boulet. He is survived by his sisters, Adelphine (Dolly) Fisher, Irene Cass, Cecile Raine and Lorraine (Robert) Riddell. Also surviving is a sister- in-law, Gertie (Geoff) Caton and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Paul was born in the paternal home in Dunrea where he attended school. With his wicked throwing arm, he was easily part of the school baseball team. Paul worked with his father and brothers in the carpentry trade and soon became a respected carpenter and handy-man. Paul had a deep and abiding faith that found him giving generously of his time and talents to the St. Felix parish and his community. At Bayside, Paul’s gentle smiles endeared him quickly to all. Paul was a self-taught musician, enjoying the accordion, mandolin, banjo, violin, guitar and harmonica, which he played simultaneously with a harmonica holder. His favorite pass-time, on Sunday evenings was to play his violin, along with the old time music on CKLQ, Brandon station. His favorites programs on TV, included hockey, wrestling and baseball. He was a keen partner or opponent at crokinole and family card parties, especially at 500! A win or loss was always met with huge laughter and teasing. Paul’s joie de vivre was totally contagious. Viewing at the church at 11:30 will precede the funeral celebration. Funeral mass at St. Felix de Valois Roman Catholic Church, Dunrea, Man. Saturday, February 22, 2014 with Father Philip Malayil celebrant. Pallbearers are: Gary Fisher, Donald Girouard, Richard Raine, Roger Girouard, Danny Boulet, Dalain Lemieux.
