KASPICK: Joyce Irene Kaspick,(nee Kilmury) of Brandon, beloved wife of Clarence and dear mother to Kevin, Shelley and Sandra, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Joyce was born at Killarney, Manitoba on November 12, 1938, daughter of Clifford and Marjorie Kilmury. She grew up and attended school in Boissevain. At the age of sixteen years, Joyce moved to Brandon to complete her education. It was in Brandon where she met Clarence and they were married on December 27, 1960. She gained employment at Eatons, where she worked until her retirement. Joyce enjoyed bowling in the Brandon Merchant Mixed League. She was also their secretary. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3. In her spare time she enjoyed working at crossword puzzles. Joyce leaves her loving husband, Clarence and children: Kevin (Anne) Kaspick and children, Dylan and Matthew; Shelley (Danny) Speer and children, Michael (Kim), Braedon and Lindsay and a great-granddaughter, Adrianna; Sandra (Donnie) Leys and children Shayna and Jenna. She also leaves a sister, Joan Kenny; brother, Gordon (Florence) Kilmury and good friend and cousin, Wilma Dickie, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Marjorie and Clifford and a brother, Keith Kilmury. The Ceremony to Celebrate Joyce's Life was held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Arlene Robertson officiated. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a future date. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Joyce to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6.
