JONES: Donna Mae Jones passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Donna was born on February 13, 1947 in Austin, Manitoba. She lived in both Bagot and MacGregor, MB, where she attended school. She also lived in Wainwright, Alberta for a brief period, before moving back to Bagot. She met Gerald in 1960, and they were married in 1964. They had three children, two boys and a girl. Donna worked in a number of nursing homes until she opened a Residential Care Home for mental health. She ran the home for 27 years, and had up to seven residents at a time. Donna was a member of Seniors for Seniors. She enjoyed her weekly supper out with Gerald, and going for coffee with her friends. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gerald, children David (Colleen), Vincent (Holly), Angela (Shawn) Berkshire, grandchildren Carrie, Ryan, Mitchell, Marisa, Beth, Dawn, Nicholas and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother, Evelyn in 1997 and grandson, Christopher in 2013. Funeral service was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Thursday, April 10, 2014 with Captain Rhonda Smith of The Salvation Army officiating. Pallbearers were Ryan Jones, Mitchell Berkshire, Wayne Kopichanski and Shawn Berkshire.
