CHUMOLA: Josephine Christine "Josie" Chumola passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre with family by her side on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Josie, a beautiful brown eyed baby girl brought into this world by Joe and Chris Polnick was born February 28, 1949 in Brandon. Being an only child she was spoiled only a little by her parents, molding Josie to becoming a Polish Princess. She was educated at David Livingstone School and graduated from Vincent Massey. CIBC was Josie's first job. Josie married John Chumola, July 19, 1969. When the boys came into Josie's world she became a stay at home mom which turned out to be her best job ever, being the best mom ever, according to the boys. As the boys grew she then worked part time for good friends that owned Venice House and Micheal's Restaurant. The Brandon Clinic was her next endeavor as a receptionist. Josie left the clinic to work with Dr. Silverman for a time running his office. She then was Office Manager at Varsity Eye Centre. Josie ended up at CIBC until her retirement at age 60. Josie always had a smile, care and compassion for everyone she met or dealt with. Whether a patient, customer at the bank or just a friend she always had time for conversation and her smile.
