CURLE: William Vernon Curle left us on March 25, 2014, to be with his Heavenly Father in glory and to join his two sons that passed away in infancy. He was born on December 24, 1964, a couple of minutes before midnight. He’s proven to be an absolute angel, and I’m sure he will be our guardian angel. He is survived by his devoted wife, SarahLouise and children, Jason, Suemara, Alice and Kevin. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Curle and Norma Fae, and grandparents on both sides. His passions were nature and highway driving. He drove transport semis for over thirty years. He has taken our family from the mountains of Alberta, to the many lakes of Manitoba, to the highest tides in Canada at the Maritimes, to passing away in the prairies at Saskatoon. His wife will always remember his great charisma and romantic ways. Vern delighted in riding his horses, going to church and enjoying his family at home. He always had time for family and friends, adored his uncles, aunts and cousins that were a strong support, and loved sharing stories of the good old days. Vern created a food bank for ethnic groups and disability, provided a moving service for lower income and disability and aided his wife and a law firm with Anti Poverty Legal Services. He also helped with transportation and setting up and tearing down stages for mature artists in film, television and music. He will be greatly missed by his spouse, family and friends. Yet his legacy will live on with his non-profit organizations. A private service and reception will be held in Hamiota.
