PIERCE: Mary Alice Pierce May 25, 1915 - May 16, 2014Alice was born in the Grande Clairiere District to parents Remy and Josephine (Marcq) Davreux. She married Burton Pierce of Reston, Manitoba in 1938 and lived in Reston ever since. Son Garth was born in 1948. Alice was predeceased by Garth (1979) and Burt (2003). Alice was also predeceased by brother Ernest, sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret (Sandy) porter, Irene Urichen, Jeanne (Walter) Penno, Maurice Lamotte, as well as in –laws, George (Anne) Pierce, Illa (Les) parker and Web (Eva) Pierce. She will be sadly missed by her sister Blanche Lamotte, daughter-in-law Kathy Pierce and brother-in-law John (Ann) Urichen. Alice had developed a close relationship with her nieces and nephews, Cliff Penno, Brenda (Penno) Dell, Brad Penno, Wendy Penno, Greg Penno, Bonnie (Lamotte) Putzig, Monty Lamotte, Dirk Lamotte, Jocelyn (Lamotte) Wheelans, Jackie (Porter) Morrise, Fred Pierce and the late Donna (Parker) Denhard. Alice is also survived by her very loving and loyal friends, John and Verna Olenick. Alice was always very appreciative of the great care and concern she received at the Reston Health Centre/Willowview Personal Care Home throughout the past 10 1/2 years. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family interment at the Reston Cemetery at a later date.
