DRAPER: Donald Blain passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 73. Don Draper, beloved husband of Anita “Nyn” Draper (nee Bertholet). Treasured father of Michelle Draper and her husband Gary Cavanagh. Cherished Papa of Alex and Katie. Don will be sadly missed by his sister Judy Reid (Laurence) as well as his extended family and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Prodger, nurses Cheryl, Aimee, Stephanie and Melissa, RTs Jeff and Alex and PT Katie at Joseph Brant Hospital for their compassion and care. Don and Nyn operated Tall Pine Lodges in West Hawk Lake, Manitoba for 27 years, until retiring to Burlington. Private family cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Joseph Brant Hospital ICU would be greatly appreciated by the family.
