MILLER: Garry Alexander Miller, born on June 23, 1945, passed away suddenly on May 27, 2014 at the Brandon Regional Hospital. Garry grew up on the family farm near Justice, MB, where he attended elementary, then completing his high school diploma at Elton Collegiate in Forrest, MB. During his years at Elton, Garry enjoyed playing football and hockey, and later in life enjoyed his position on the Justice baseball team. Garry was the proud father of three daughters, Jodi, Jenifer and JilIian, all born in December. During his time on the farm, Garry loved to watch his daughters ride their dirt bikes, their snowmobiles and their horses. Garry always taught his girls that they could do anything a boy could do and thus loved to watch them play baseball and often brought them along on a Saturday hunt, whatever the season may have been. Garry was the co-owner/operator of Inland Radiator and Hydraulics until his retirement in 2012 in which Garry and Janice sold the Miller Century Farm near Justice and purchased a home in Monterey Estates in Brandon, MB. During his retirement, Garry loved wintering in his home in Mesa, Arizona where he found his love for flying model airplanes. When Garry wasn’t spending time with Janice, his daughters or his grandchildren, he could usually be found at the flying club. Garry was a family man and he cherished spending time with his three daughters and seven grandchildren. Garry will be deeply missed by his partner Janice Little, Daughters Jodi (Jeff) Hrymak, Jenifer Miller, Jillian (Jason) Lawrence, Grandchildren Emma and Bria Hrymak, Tyson Cloet and Abby and Kate McClure, and Tucker and Tristan Lawrence, as well as his sisters Donna (Roy) Ewasiuk, and Lorna (Neil) McFaddin and numerous nieces and nephews, and many close friends including his companion, Bailey the Shih Tzu dog. Garry was predeceased by his parents Harry and Grace Miller of Justice, MB.
