HARKNESS: Shirley Kathleen, beloved wife of Lorne Harkness, mother of Bill, Larry, Lloyd, Cheryl, Shawna and the late Floyd, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the age of 91 years. A private family funeral service will be held at the Alexander Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Shirley, donations may be made to the Funds For Furry Friends. Kowalchuk’s Funeral Home, Souris, in care of arrangements. Expression of sympathy may be made at www.kowalchuks.net
