NIERADKA: The afternoon of June 24th, 2014 Rose Nieradka, age 81 passed away peacefully at Brandon Regional Health Centre. Rose lived a full life and will continue to through her seven children that she shares with John Nieradka: Tim (Erin), Rick (Barb), Brian, Mark (Claudia), Rosemary (Richard), Ray (Jodi) and Teena (Grant). Her eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren brought many moments of joy and laughter to her. They were always sure to keep her on her toes. In Roses spare time besides knitting and reading her favorite mystery and romance novels you could find her in the kitchen cooking up the best traditional Ukrainian food along with many other goodies. She was also the head green thumb of the family and knew how to nurse any plant back to life...she knew all the tricks. Boomerang slipper queen. She was predeceased by her parents John and Teenie, siblings Ella, Anne, George and Joyce. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff at BRHC. There will be a celebration of Roses life held on Saturday, June 28th from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at the Riverbank Discovery Centre. If so desired, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to a charity of your choice in her name.In life we loved you dearly,In death we love you still,In our hearts you hold a place,No one else will ever fill.
