PETERSON: Joy Burdene, November 25, 1926– Milestone, SK, June 26, 2014-Calgary, AB. Mom passed away peacefully at her home in Calgary on Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was born in 1926 in Milestone, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her husband Gus Peterson of Brandon in 1992, also by her brother and sister-in-law, Robin and Arlo Lunde, of Moose Jaw, SK. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Brenda and Janice of Calgary, and Wendy (Don) of Nelson, B.C.; her grandchildren Jill (Larry) and Rob (Margie); as well as four lovely great-granddaughters, Sophie, Hannah, Lilla and Emmie, all of Boston MA. A private family Graveside Service at Queen’s Park Cemetery will take place at a later date.
