MONCAUSKAS: Lena Moncauskas of Brandon, beloved mother of Horace and dear sister of Margaret (Garth) Foley and Olive Isherwood, passed away peacefully at her residence, Hillcrest Place, on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Lena will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews Gail Witherspoon, Grant Chyzyk, David Isherwood and Sean Foley. Funeral service to honour Lena’s life will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Patrick Neufeld of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church officiating. Following the funeral service, interment will take place at the Brandon Cemetery, where Lena will be laid to rest beside her husband Walter. Donations in memory of Lena may be made to the Manitoba Diabetes Association, Unit A1-800 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, MB, R7A 6N5. Messages of condolence may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com.
