WALKER: Jean Binnie (née Murray). Passed away at the Perley Rideau Health Care Centre on Sunday, September 7, 2014 with her daughter and her son-in-law at her side. Born in Bo'ness, Scotland proudly served in the World War II with the Canadian Women Army Corps (1943-1946). Jean outlived all her family and widowed twice from Clarence Walker (1979) and Max Fitzwater (1993). She is survived by her daughter Janice Nadeau (Fred) of Orleans, her son Gordon Walker (Beth) of Port Alice, BC, her stepsons Marlin Fitzwater (Melinda) of Deale, MD and Gary Fitzwater (Lois) of Abilene, KS. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her favorite quote by Dr. Seuss: "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind". Special thanks to all the staff at the Perley Rideau Health Care Centre (O2W), the Queenswood Villa Retirement Home and the Kelly Funeral Home-Orleans. “For He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways” Psalm 91:11. In Jean’s memory, we are respecting her wishes for no funeral service. Interment of her cremated remains in the military section of the Brandon, Manitoba cemetery will take place at a later date. In memoriam, please do a kind deed for someone as that is what Jean would have done.
