GOULD: Maud Lillian Gould (Wall). It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at her residence on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the age of 96 years. Mom was born September 20, 1918 to Ernest and Minnie Wall of Brandon. In 1939, she married William (Fred) Gould and together they remained life-long residents of Brandon. Mom was very family-oriented and together they spent many enjoyable summers at the cottage at Sandy Lake with family and friends. Many winter months were spent in Arizona. They also enjoyed vacations to Spain and Hawaii. Mom was predeceased by Fred, her husband of 67 years, son Larry, grandson Mark, and siblings Dorothy Gibson, Mary Davis, Violet Coupar, Ernest and Walter Wall. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Bill (Chris) of Winnipeg and Ken (Linda) of Onanole. Her grandchildren Dean (Michelle & Cole) of Gibsons, Brent (Rebecca) of Victoria, and Sheri (Bill) of Winnipeg. Her great-grandchildren Gavin, Owen and Brecon Gould, and Khephren and Kiefer Kuzyk Gould. Daughter-in-law Lynne (Cal) Rempel of Gibsons. Sister-in-law Anna Wall of Brandon. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff of Hillcrest Place in Brandon. At Mom’s request, there will be a graveside service at Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev’d Canon Jim Brown officiating.
