Les RUDD

RUDD: Les Rudd (July 29/1915 - October 12/2014). Les went to be with the Lord and died peacefully in his sleep with family by his side at the age of 99. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Alice in 1992 and oldest son Ron in 2010. Les was the father of seven children; left to mourn his loss is Bev (Joe) Smithson of Winnipeg, MB; Sharon (Grant) Bridgeman of Chemainus, BC; Lorraine (Tom) Bates of Nanoose, BC; Larry (Marilyn) Rudd of Didsbury, AB; Linda (Pat) Kyle of Edmonton, AB; Dennis (Cherie) of Two Hills, AB as well as 25 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Alvin Rudd of BC, sister Evelyn Crandell of Brandon, MB and numerous other relatives and friends. Les spent most of his life on the family farm near Crandall, MB. He spent a few years in Bissett, only to return to the farm where he stayed until he was 94, at which time he moved into Lilac in Hamiota, MB. He later moved to Hillcrest Place in Brandon, MB this past February. He loved the staff and always spoke highly of them. A private graveside service will take place according to his wishes.
