SEXSMITH: Gert Sexsmith, beloved wife of the Late Robert James Sexsmith and loving mother of Doug, Lea and the Late Ken Sexsmith, passed away at WestMan Nursing Home – Virden, Manitoba on Monday; October 20, 2014. Gert was in her 96th year. Evening Prayer Vigil will be held from G. R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel – Virden at 8:00 p.m. on Friday; October 24th. The Funeral Mass will be held from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church – Virden at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday; October 25th with Fr. Eric Zadji officiating. Interment will be in Virden Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the WestMan Nursing Home Remembrance Fund, P.O. Box 1630 Virden, MB R0M 2C0 in memory of Gert.
